The mission of the Saint Albans Red Dragon Band Booster Inc. is to support, strengthen, and promote the Saint Albans Red Dragon Band and the students who make it possible.
Through fundraising, volunteer service, and community support, we work to provide resources that help our band program and its students succeed. Funds raised by the Band Boosters directly support the needs of the band, including new music, instruments, instrument repairs, equipment, uniforms, supplies, transportation, band camp, performances, and other opportunities that enhance music education.
We believe that every student should have the opportunity to participate in band, regardless of their family's financial circumstances. A key part of our mission is helping remove financial barriers for students who may otherwise be unable to participate. This includes assistance with band camp expenses, necessary supplies, equipment, and other costs associated with being a member of the band.
Our work goes beyond purchasing instruments and supplies. We strive to create opportunities for students to develop musicianship, discipline, confidence, teamwork, leadership, responsibility, and pride—skills that can benefit them long after their time in the band program has ended.
The Saint Albans Red Dragon Band is an important part of our school and community. Our goal is to bring together parents, families, alumni, local businesses, and community members to ensure that today's students—and future generations of Red Dragons—have a strong and successful band program.
Every fundraiser, donation, sponsorship, and volunteer hour helps us continue that mission.
We are here to support the band. We are here to support music education. Most importantly, we are here for the kids.
